Raising Awareness on Modern-day Slavery

Our goal is to raise awareness and inspire change, turning every product we create into a step towards a world free from exploitation.

Many girls who possess the skills and potential to become talented textile artisans often find themselves trapped in the harsh reality of human trafficking. In regions where textile traditions thrive, vulnerable communities frequently face economic hardships that lead to exploitation. These girls, who could contribute to the preservation of traditional textiles art, are lured by false promises of education and employment, only to discover they are forced into inhumane working conditions. Stripped of their rights and autonomy, they endure grueling hours of labor, undermining their dreams and stifling their creativity. The pervasive cycle of poverty and the demand for cheap labor or worse, continue to perpetuate this tragic situation, robbing these young artisans of their future and community.

At RvH, we seek to embed social impact into our core by channeling a funding to support those fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking, especially in the Golden Triangle. Through partnerships with local advocates, we will fund safe shelters, rehabilitation, and vocational programs to empower survivors and create pathways to freedom.
